I have been to physical therapy many times before and thought that I knew what to expect. Manual Solutions took it to a whole new level. My treatment felt much more customized than what I have had in the past. Every manipulation or exercises was aimed at correcting a specific problem and we took time at the end of every session to talk about the changes.

Manual Solutions is a game changer. I didn’t think that I would be able to continue with Crossfit. I felt like I was always getting hurt. My therapist showed me how my three pregnancies affected me, moved my tailbone and gave me pelvic exercises. I now do CrossFit regularly and feel great. It’s sad that I didn’t find these guys years ago.

I had headaches for years. I tried everything that I could think of including chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, and medication. Eventually I was sent to the pain clinic. My doctor told me that Manual Solutions Physical Therapy was different, and he wanted me to be evaluated before trying stronger medications or a pain stimulator. The therapist treated my skull and neck and I left without a headache. It was the first time in 10 years that I have been pain free. It took repeated visits to make the change permanent, but I have now been pain free for months. I will be forever grateful for what they have done.

For years, my neck has been getting more and more painful. I met with surgeons and pain doctors to discuss my options and they weren’t good. A friend suggested Manual Solutions. We found that mobilization would improve my range and decrease my pain by about 75%. It has been 6 years. I attend therapy once a month but haven’t had to have surgery, take medication or have injections. Thank you

Manual Solutions has really helped me with my chest pain. I have a history of lung disease and chest tightness. I had tried physical therapy in the past and was skeptical. They treated me by helping my rib cage to move, “unsticking” my lungs and liver and teaching me to breath differently. It was so different from other clinics that told me to suck air into a tube and it worked. I have more energy; my chest feels free and I only have a fraction of the pain.

I never would have guessed that a physical therapist could treat kidneys. I crashed on a motorcycle years ago and developed a pain in my side that doctors couldn’t explain. After having a lot of expensive tests, I was told it wasn’t dangerous and decided to live with it. My mother attended therapy at Manual Solutions and all but dragged me to an appointment. When the therapist evaluated me he put his hand under my rib cage and he put his hand on the exact spot of my pain. He kept his hand on the pain and moved my body around for a few minutes and the pain was gone. Apparently, my kidney wasn’t moving right. I don’t understand it, but I am a believer. It had been years. Why didn’t anyone else think to feel what was going on?

I was angry when my doctor told me that my back pain was in my head. They had given me every test they could think of and couldn’t find anything. My husband researched therapists online and suggested I go to Manual Solutions. The therapist listened to me and found out my pain was from scar tissue that came from a burst appendix years ago. The treatment took time but when I do my exercises my pain is 90% less. I guess it wasn’t in my head after all.

I was bucked of a horse as a teenager and have always felt “crooked”. I attended chiropractic monthly for years to keep me going. My sister told me that I should go to Manual Solutions. They did deep tissue massage and moved my tailbone. At the end of the treatment, I felt more balanced than I have in years. I have attended several times and feel like I am getting real change for the first time.

I had hip surgery 3 years ago and never felt that I got back to 100%. I felt like I lost a step and was weak. A friend told me that it was worth the drive to see a therapist at Manual Solutions. They were very thorough and told me how my hip and core weren’t working together the way that they should. They also showed me how my hip twisted when I planted my foot. We did exercises for my pelvic floor and the therapist resisted me while I held various positions. Over a few visits my core and hip connected. It was well worth the 4-5 trips to Idaho Falls.

Running friends referred me to Manual Solutions. I was trying to train for a marathon and my right knee kept swelling. I am only 33 but I felt old. They did a video assessment and showed me how I hit my heel when I run because my stride was too long. They mobilized my meniscus and showed me how to do a self-mobilization they call “speed bump”. My marathon time was 3 hours and 24 minutes and I didn’t have any knee pain.

I hobbled into Manual Solutions with foot pain expecting ultrasound and a lecture on changing my shoes. When I told the therapist, he said he could give me the ultrasound or he could fix it. I was skeptical but consented. I watched the therapist change the whole shape of my foot. The treatment hurt but I walked out without pain. I’m glutton for punishment so I came back the next week to have the other foot fixed. I never would have thought it was possible.

My doctor didn’t want to send me to Manual Solutions to treat my intense foot pain. He wanted me to have injections. I insisted so my doctor said I could go. I told my therapist that the doctor was skeptical and we joked that after he fixed me I would have to go and tap dance for the doctor. Four weeks later, I made good on my promise. I had an appointment for an unrelated issue. The doctor called me the tap dancing miracle.

I heard about Manual Solutions Physical Therapy on an internet blog. I had been diagnosed with EDS and was frustrated that most therapist didn’t even know what it was. The blog recommended Manual Solutions because of the extra training and personalized attention. I have been very impressed with their knowledge of EDS and how it is treated.

When I started having problems with my neck, I asked a good friend at the ISU PT department who I should see. I had multiple complicating issues and wanted “the best”. I was surprised when I was told I needed to drive to another city, but I am very pleased. Manual Solutions has been top notch in every way, and I am feeling much better.
